I am excited to announce the birth of mommyhood101.com!  Let me introduce the founders of the site, my husband and me, parents of the most adorable (if I may say so myself) baby boy. In addition to being 30-something first time parents, we are also research scientists with doctoral degrees (Ph.D.) in Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience. Conversations in our household have gone from discussing parts of the brain and how people mentally organize information to talking about the unique colors we find in our son's poopy diapers. We hope that our scientific backgrounds make our reviews of recent pediatric science valuable additions to the site. As new parents, we have already spent several sleepless nights looking up things like baby acne, colic, gas, and reflux and thought it might be helpful to share some of the information we've accumulated and to hear from mommies (and daddies!) out there who are going through similar experiences. We hope that this site proves a valuable resource, and that in addition to worrying about your baby's most recent ailment, you have as much fun being parents as we do!
